The Airports Authority
of India, deployed.
Two pilot airports live today; full 130+ AAI network goes live July–August 2026. The honest story of how it's sequenced.
2026
A national rollout,
airport by airport.
Map shows a representative selection of AAI-owned airports — the actual network is around 130+ stations across metros, regional hubs, and civil enclaves at defence airfields. Privately-operated airports (DEL, BOM, BLR, HYD, AMD, LKO, JAI, GAU, TRV, COK) sit outside the AAI network; NorthSky's platform is operator-agnostic and runs at private hubs on the same template.
Airports Authority
of India.
AAI runs the country's largest airport network — 130+ airports across metros, regional hubs, and civil enclaves. NorthSky AERO is the implementation partner for AAI's DGCA-quarterly Customer Satisfaction Survey programme — deploying AeroFeedback with surveyor apps, kiosks, QR, and digital channels in 100+ languages.
130+ airports.
One response stream.
One platform across metros and regional airports — same survey instrument, same language stack, same response pipeline. AeroFeedback was already multi-tenant at this scale.
Every official Indian language,
plus the international traveler.
Every official Indian language plus most major world languages — 100+ in total, with passenger-locale auto-detection. Production-tested before AAI began.
DGCA quarters,
ICAO service excellence.
DGCA quarterly format, ICAO Doc 9184 alignment, audit trail by design. Reports that took weeks now publish in hours.
Surveyors who'd
never used an app.
Many AAI surveyors are first-time smartphone users. Large tap targets, offline-first, route-driven workflow. Adoption was effectively instant.
A similar engagement, at your network.
The pilot template becomes your network template — channel mix, regulator format, language coverage, adapted to your scope.
What we learned
at the pilot airports.
Four things the pilots taught us — that became the network template.
First-time smartphone users didn't slow us down.
98% adoption inside the first issue cycle. Large tap targets, route-driven workflow, offline-first sync did the work — not training videos.
Free-text responses came in more languages than we expected.
Passengers chose 14+ Indian languages in free-text, not the three we'd seeded. Taxonomy now ships pre-extended; new languages don't need a re-train.
The DGCA report was the fastest path to credibility.
Regulator-format quarterly in ~2 hours — down from weeks. The DGCA report became the demo, not the survey instrument.
Sensitive categories needed tighter HITL.
Accessibility and safety complaints came through hotter than projected. Tightened the HITL threshold; added a per-customer sensitive-list editor. Every override logged with reason — DGCA-audit-ready.
How the platform
does the work at AAI.
Auto-categorised against AAI's taxonomy in the passenger's language — 100+ languages. No manual coding by surveyors.
250,000+ classified responses become a DGCA-format CSS in ~2 hours. Re-runnable for any past quarter.
Safety, security, accessibility, harassment queue for supervisor review. AI proposes; AAI supervisor decides; every override logged.

The rollout, sequenced.
The pilots
Two AAI pilot airports under real passenger load. Every channel live — QR, kiosk, surveyor app, web.
- 2 AAI pilot airports · production
- 250,000+ responses processed
- 98% surveyor adoption · first issue cycle
- DGCA quarterly cycle proven · ~2 hr generation
Metro & regional rollout
AAI metros (Chennai, Kolkata) and highest-traffic regionals. Configuration template proven from the pilot.
- AAI metros · MAA, CCU
- Tier-2 regionals · PNQ, GOI, IDR, PAT, BBI
- Go-live · July 2026
Full AAI network
Balance of AAI airports — regional hubs, smaller stations, civil enclaves. Network benchmarking and ACI ASQ feeds.
- 130+ AAI airports targeted
- Network benchmarking
- ACI ASQ feed for participating airports
- Quarterly DGCA at network scale
Who else this is for.
AAI is the largest deployment, not the only fit. The same template adapts to any airport operating model.
Network-wide passenger-voice programme.
The AAI shape. One implementation partner, one tenancy, one taxonomy across every station. Centralised regulator reporting, per-airport benchmarking.
- Network-wide enterprise agreement
- Per-airport tenancy + central rollup
- Regulator submissions at portfolio scale
- Network template proven at AAI
A tier-1 airport with its own brand.
Tier-1 hubs — multi-terminal, multi-airline, ACI ASQ-certified. Layered procurement: AeroFeedback first, then AeroResolve, then airfield products as priorities mature.
- Per-airport enterprise agreement
- SSO + customer-managed keys
- Custom integrations + dedicated CSM
- Hub-grade SLA + 24×7 support
A regional airport with tight resources.
Domestic-heavy, lean ops team, regulator-driven deadlines. Pre-tuned template: no weeks of configuration, no consultant army. AAI playbook compressed to one airport.
- Single-airport subscription
- Pre-tuned channels + regulator pack
- Surveyor app + kiosk + QR
- Live in weeks, not quarters
A new airport being commissioned.
New-build airports — Navi Mumbai, Jewar, Bhogapuram-style. No legacy to integrate. Configured during commissioning, live for first commercial flight.
- Full-suite from commissioning
- Configured into the build, not retrofitted
- AeroFeedback + AeroGround + ATOMS from day one
- Operating record from minute one
Common questions.
Is this only for AAI?
No. AAI is the largest deployment, but the platform is operator-agnostic. Private hubs, regional airports, greenfield projects run the same template. AAI just proved it at scale.
What does "deploying across 130+ AAI airports" mean today?
NorthSky is AAI's implementation partner for the national CSS programme. Two airports live (the pilots); the rest go live through July–August 2026 on the same configuration template.
Can a private airport procure NorthSky directly?
Yes. Per-airport enterprise subscriptions on the same suite. Most start with AeroFeedback, add AeroResolve, then layer airside products. See the pricing model.
What about airports outside India?
The platform serves any jurisdiction. Regulator-pack templates are jurisdiction-specific (DGCA for India, ACI ASQ globally, ICAO 9184 universally). Non-India deployments quoted in USD; data residency adapts to local requirements.
